This landmark atrium earned its name because of its unique ceiling design. Composed of glass, steel and Plexiglas fashioned into a 120-foot-tall stack of pyramids, it is an architectural classic designed by internationally renown building designers Philip Johnson and John Burgee. The Court, which was featured in the opening scenes of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, is the hub of the Minneapolis skyway system. It is a popular shopping spot and gathering place.
